True begginings

A massive Anomaly began to unravel itself near the edges of Orion. It was spacial in nature.

The energies got the attention of the Guild military as the Orion Defence Wing was deployed, the GNS Harai leading it. The Guild Master was calmly watching the battle screen as tactical data flooded in.

A massive ship emerged from the Anomaly easily dwarfing the Harai in size and energy generation. The anomaly closed up. he ship looked pretty heavily damaged who chunks of the hull were missing. The letters OSS Ygdrassil were on the side.

The Guild Master calmly ordered "Tell the forces to deploy boarding parties, flush clean the ship if anybody is hostile, arrest them if their human." "sir?" "I mean assist, sorry."

Out in space, the Harai launched a number of Transports over to the Yggdrassil, docking with the hangers so that they could unload thier troops to help out.

Most of the people on board were civilian families placed in Quarters, there were lots of civilians even in the corridors, the crew were mostly injured and attempting to get the auto repair systems on-line, the scientists were still trying to get the main power systems on-line. Meanwhile in the dead centre of the ship behind a sealed door ma ny of the Spectre captains were conversing with their subordinates behind another sealed door was the Marshal.

The Guild troops calmly came down first of all into the hanger and looked around. "Sir, we've got civilians." came one into the mic. "Try to find who's in charge first off, we can't get through to them comms wise."

The lights suddenly came on in the corridors, power had been restiored to the ship.

Guild troops noted that. "hmm, looks okay, we'll wait here in case they need us." "Roger that."

The younger Spectre's began doing a sweep of the ship. The Marshal stayed where he was.

The Guild Troops were calmly waiting to be asked for help, they hadn't moved from the hangers though.

They received it, as the younger Spectres began shooting at some enemy troop remnants.

The soldiers heard it and began to move to where they were needed, arming their pulse rifles as they went.

The Spectre's were not having an easy time. The enemy were layered with extremely thick armour so much so that it was impossible to tell the organic life form from the amour itself.

The Guild Troops were about 5 minutes away and were quickly moving, but not without checking all corridors incase of ambush.

It was then that the corridor they were in began to tremble noticeably.

"HQ, give us thermal and read out of the corridor, over." came the colonel of the squads as they continued. They soon got the data which opened up.

It revealed a whole platoon of heavily armoured troops charging down the corridor like a stampede of wild animals, their aim was to trample the Guild troops.

The Guild troops were quick to move out of their way, when they did turn alot of Assault rifle fire hit them square on as the troops also landed some pulse grenades in there.

This was when the enemy troops turned around thinned and returned fire with a vengeance.

The elven troops used the cover wisely, moving if a Grenade hit their position and taking up new cover. They were determined to hold the location.

The enemy troops continued, the9ir numbers began to thin away so they began throwing grenades at the Elven troops.

The elven troops quickly retreated as the grenades continued, they kept up the fire on the troops.

The enemy troops decided enough was enough began bring out heavier weapons.

The Guild troops were quickly pulling back, as another transport was called in with heavier armoured troops as well.

The enemy troops looked at each then back at the Guild troops and began another stampede hoping to kill the Guild troops.
