Coronian Palace.

The palace itself was very spacious, it contained a central meeting hall, where the Queen held court but also alot of private rooms, or so to speak 'houses' for each of the royal family to reside and live in. They were also tended by a vareity of servants which the Royal Family chose themselves.

The Only four members of the family that lived there were The Queen, Trace, Monica and Veria (Veria more works around her land and advises the Queen.) In age order, of course.

Trace had finally been drug back to palace and was now being taken to his mother to see what she wanted to do.

The Queen was already in her throne. The Personal advisor standing on her right.

In 5 chairs on the Queens right in a rough quarter circle were the houses from left to right. Gen, Labule, Ich, Dema, Abreil. And in the left were her advisors, or members of the family that could attend if they wanted too.

This was when the Guards came dragging Trace in he had an apparently smug grin on his face because he had already formulated an escape plan.

The Queen watched. "Again?" she simply asked the personal advisor. "Yes, Your highness." He simply commented. "I've... had to pay the bill for his damages."

"Oh please a few garbage disposals are hardly what I'd call a major catastrophe" Trace muttered

"I'm including, Hanger bay charges. Having to get your G-78 out of impounding, and of course the coffee." The Advisor read from his report, handing it to the Queen for double checking, she chuckled at the coffee payment.

"Sheesh you should really have something done about that tree up your ass" Trace muttered under his breath

Monica read his mind and hearing what he said giggled slightly.

The Queen noticed Monica's giggle. "Want to say that out loud?" the head of House Labule asked Trace.

"Oh go shove it up your ass Labule" Trace shot back

Monica simply shook her head.

"no You shove it up yours, Prince." Labule retorted "I at least try to get an official per-" "Enough." Came House Gen's representative. "This is a royal court, not a petty match of insults." The other houses agreed, although Labule looked annoyed.

Monica was simply shaking her head at Trace's antics while trace simply grinned at Labule.

"that goes to you too." Gen told Trace. "As much as you'd like this to turn into an insult match. It would damage our influence and respect within the Guild."

"Yeah well maybe you tell labule to stop being such a..."

"TRACE enough" Monica cut him off

The Queen was looking at Trace. "Thank you, Monica." She acknowledged. "Trace, Go to your quarters. I think it's safe to say that this... mess is clean up." "Yes, it is madam." The personal advisor replied.

Trace went to his quarters muttering several choice words all the way. Monica sighed well aware of what he was thinking and followed him.

The Queen rubbed her temple calmly. "With-" "Enough Labule." The Queen cut in before Labule could argue. "I won't have another one of those arguements."

It was at this time Monica had chosen to read Labules mind and before leaving the room glared at him and if glares could kill Labule would have been dead thousand times.

Labule hadn't noticed. But the Queen stood up. "Court adjourned." She calmly, with help from the advisor climbed down the stairs and towards the gardens of the palace.

Monica had left for the garden beg fore the court had adjourned after her glaring session and was seated on top of one of the decorative columns and was staring out into the sky.

The Queen was walking along with a walking stick. One of her Handmaidens helping her. She saw Monica. "Credit for your thoughts?" she asked her straight as she approached.

Monica didn't turn to look at her.

"I don't understand the Labules" Monica sighed

The Queen smiled "I believe only a few outside of the Labules do." She told Monica. "If you follow their heritage they've been on the winning side of every war of the Elves. In some ways they believe that if they are on the battlefield they will win. They've lost what the first Admiral Labule had. Honour and courage."

Monica snorted 'Honour and Courage yeah right' she thought

"Ask the cheif archiver over at the mothership if you think I'm lying. The first Labule saved over 2 billion people on a planet and he didn't take any claim." The Queen told Monica. "It's rather sad that they became arrogant and cowardly."
