Crowning a Queen/1st duke. (in this example, a queen.)

To Crown a queen you must first present her with the royal ring for becoming a Queen. If the Queen accepts this, then the King must send an immediate message to the palace for them to make a statement to the houses and the Advisory Chamber to be informed of this development.If the queen does not reject the King's ring then within one Elven Month's time she will be summoned to the Palace for her crowning. After the crowning the Central Royal Chamber will be opened for the first night spent by the King and Queen together once all these steps are successful then she is the official Queen of Coronia.

It is noted that the coronation is over two days, the first day is when the queen is stripped of whichever family she came from, she then spends the night in one of the prison cells, a curious tradition which when research was committed apparantly during the first Guild War, the Queen of the Kingdom of Coronia spent the closing year in prison before the SEC decided to release her. She then enters the chamber to be crowned.

Presence of the Guild Master or high Admiral.

If the Guild Master or High Admiral attend an event at the palace, their party is literally shut out at the main gates of the Palace. This is to show the Vassal's and the palaces independance of the Guild Customs. It is then that the guild Party's lead Guard would request entry. After sometime, the Guards at the gate will open the gate to show they are clear to pass and enter the palace.

This also happens at the Grand Hall of the Palace, the top middle balcony is for the guild Party, however they are blocked by the royal guard and not permitted past until the captain of the royal guard and the Personal Advisor grants them to enter. This came from when the palace was sieged when the last battle of Coronia occured, the last two elven leaders of the Kingdom was the King's personal advisor and the captain of the royal Guard were the last two left and negotiated a ceasefire to the war. But that did not mean that the SEC had to fight.

Another note, the tradition always refers to the party as the SEC's party. So for the Guild Master it would be 'Leader of the Star Elf Coalition' and high admiral 'Cheif military marshal of the coalition'
