Coronian Palace.

2 months later...

A procession of Nakora guards in procession around a female, her cloak had swirls of Red and black, as she approached the main gates. It appeared that something was happening regarding the house, and the guards had informed Machena as she rushed towards the main gates.

Alchemia Night was on Coronia having arrived from her latest adventure. She noted the activity, made herself invisible and decided to investigate.

Trace meanwhile was attending a memorial commemorating Admiral Abriels death. He had a ship new flag ship commissioned named the Abriel.

Machena arrived at the Gates and said officially "Guard, who is the party that wishes to enter?" A tradition that was kept if the King or Queen wasn't expecting anybody. "A Party from House Nakora, Advisor." "Let them in." With that the gates opened, and for a few moments Machena felt chills down her neck as she turned and started to ascend the stairs up to the palace with the party following.

The nobility didn't like the new female, and it showed on those watching, they didn't like it.

Meanwhile at the Memorial,

Vera had calmly entered and approached Trace she calmly whispered "Your highness, a party from House Nakora seeks your audience."

Alchemia kept herself at a safe and undectable distance while still being able to follow them.

"Send them in" Trace said

Vera nodded as she walked off.

Audience Chamber.

The party calmly entered with Machena in the lead as she arrived she bowed "the Party from the House of Nakora, your majesty." With that she proceeded to walk to his side as the female calmly stepped forward. "greetings, King Trace." Her voice showed more sympathy, but there was a tinge of cruelty.

Trace gave her respectful nod in return. Alchemia entered just behind keeping her footsteps undetectably quiet. She went to a corner where she could listen without being detected.

"How can I help you today House Nakora?" Trace asked still a tinge of sadness in his voice.

The female calmly took her hood off. Her face although reminded Trace of the Matriachs it looked more younger and had a intricate tattoo on it, going across her right face. "The House informs you that the old Matriach Jiu Nakora has died. Under the succession of our traditions, I, Lyna Nakora is the new matriach." Came Lyna's statement of fact. "do not give Jiu Pity, she died the way she planned and that is how a matriach tends to go. Even myself one day."

"It's far from over" Alchemia said loudly not making herself visible she was throwing her voice to make it sound Omnidirectional "They will return this was just a probe attack"

Machena almost face palmed "oh unity preserve us..." came a mutter. Lyna asked "Do you have no respect for tradition miss...?

"Night, Alchemia Night and now that they know that there is life in the galaxy they are going start sending the real attacks through and when they do they won't stop they won't ever ever stop" Alchemia responded

"Miss Nights, are you a tactican?" Lyna asked cooly. Machena noticed the line Lyna was following but didn't comment.

"I've been around for a few hundred years I've picked quite a bit a up exploring this plane" Alchemia responded

"then you would know, that stating the obvious, that these invaders are going to attack again is not a productive means of dealing of the threat." Lyna calmly told her. "If anything I could torture a complete nobody and that wouldn't be productive to this. It's a matter of how to deal with them."

"Your only problem is you have limited knowledge of their capabilities while they have gained an advantage you have no prisoners and don't even know what they call themselves"

"A problem?" Lyna chuckled. "A problem... that's not a problem, it is a momentary advantage in war." Machena nodded as she started to draft an act in her head.

"even a momentary advantage can irreversibly turn the tide of any battle"

Lyna blinked before smiling cruely. "That has yet to be proven, as the Elven War of Empires proved." She simply told Alchemia.

"Correction yet to be proven to you, I an think of several million species for who do know what even a slight advantage can do in battle"

Lyna smiled, she didn't reply to that. "And yet I bet those species prize themselves on advantages, yes get advantages... the trouble is... Advantages are not what makes or changes a war."

Alchemia suddenly found herself thinking 'Why am I even arguing over this and more importantly why do I care?'

"And you would loose that bet because I speak of species you cannot even perceive in your limited three dimensions"

"Oh please, I rather like the 3-D. Always move forward with an open mind or is it an ignorant heart... I can never tell." Lyna told her. "Knowledge they say is power, that is strictly not true."

Alchemia found her curiosity now peaked and decided to make her voice one directional again and removed her invisibility she was grinning now amused.

Lyna noticed her first. "ah, there you are. I wondered when you'd show your face." She calmly addressed.

Alchemia was prevented from responded by a blast of energy that headed for Trace, Alchemia intercepted it with her own blast. A girl wearing black with a purple aura aorund her floate din the air.

"Damn I forgot you wre here my sister" She said

"Get lost Aya this isn't your assigned plane" Alchemia responded

Lyna watched clearly bemused at this exchange. She didn't respond, but her head was going through the angles.
